2013 Chest Wall International Group (CWIG) Meeting - Asia

Dear colleague,

It is a great pleasure to invite you to the 2013 CHEST WALL INTERNATIONAL GROUP MEETING - SEOUL.

The convention is going to be held on June 13-15,2013 in Seoul, Korea. This is the first time event taking place in Asia as an ally of Chest Wall International Group (CWIG). The CWIG, the team dedicated purely on treating the chest wall diseases, has been growing year by year and now offering hands to colleagues in all other continents. The group is now set to go truly global.

We will have world-expert surgeons from all across the globe, including North America, Europe, South America, and the entire region of Asia. It is going to be more meaningful by constructing a tight network among Asian surgeons and ultimately bring all the surgeons together across the globe.

In the meeting, we are planning a pre-congress live surgery teleconference (13th June, Thursday) from the OR with 2 cases of pectus excavatum repair and one case of carinatum repair. The main sessions for the following 2 days (14th, 15th June) will provide you with exciting, cutting-edge issues on congenital and acquired chest wall diseases with finely selected invited lectures and free papers.

Especially, the convention will be highlighted by proposing the most significant problem in pectus surgery-the patients' safety during repair procedure- with an impetuous discussion among the most experienced panelists, and then expanding to all participants. We believe this is going to be the first time ever touching the sore spot of our own and we will find out something from this open-minded debate.

We look forward to your participation and contribution to this meeting.
